Played my 3rd Game of Malifaux

I had my good friend John Ross come over today and play a game of Malifaux. We are still both learning and it's still just the basics but we are getting there.

We are both finding the joy of the simplistic yet complex strategies that this game can provide. It was John's Som'er Teeth Jones and his good ol' boys against Lady Justice and some Witchlings. John's getting the hand of his piggies and I made some good use of the Judge. Of course Lady Justice was great fun, but finally choked on Som'er fetid wind. Nasty.

So lots more excitment with playing this game. Terrain is the next addative...

Radon Zombies

I've not been in the best of health this last week, so my painting and such has been spotty. I did have based ages ago (well a few weeks, I guess that that is ages ago for me) some Radon Zombies from Pulp Figures. I've decided to give them the Phantom colour scheme, not sure how it will turn out yet, they are in their primer state. This wet weather which the news tells me will be here till Thursday may impact on my desire to paint.

Soul Hunter

I picked up Soul Hunter by Aaron Dembski-Dowden, a Night Lords Novel.

I have yet to put it down. Compared to the Dark Disciple series (Word Bearers from memory) this is a breath of fresh air. It gives another perspective of Chaos Space Marines which I'm rather taken with.

I recommend it as a good read. In store now at GW stores.
